Hey,
You posted yesterday.
Got 500 views.
You feel defeated.
"The algorithm hates me."
"Instagram is rigged."
"Nothing works anymore."
Here's the hard truth.
The algorithm doesn't care about your feelings.
It cares about three things:
#1: Watch Time
How long do people watch your Reel?
If they watch 3 seconds and scroll that's a signal to the algorithm that your content is bad.
If they watch all 15 seconds and rewatch that's a signal your content is good.
The algorithm will push good content to more people.
#2: Engagement Rate
How many people like comment save or share?
High engagement = good content.
Low engagement = bad content.
It's that simple.
#3: Completion Rate
On carousels do people swipe through all slides?
On Reels do they watch to the end?
If yes the algorithm rewards you with more reach.
If no the algorithm buries your content.
Here's What This Means:
Stop posting content you "feel" is good.
Start posting content the algorithm knows is good.
How?
Study what's already working in your niche.
Find posts with 100k+ views.
Reverse engineer them.
What hook did they use?
What format?
What length?
Then create your version using the same structure.
This isn't copying.
This is smart strategy.
You're not guessing anymore.
You're using data.
The Brutal Reality:
Your personal opinion about your content means nothing.
The algorithm's response to your content means everything.
If it gets views it's good.
If it doesn't it's bad.
Detach your ego.
Look at the numbers.
Double down on what works.
Kill what doesn't.
That's how you win.
Talk soon,
