Hey,

Most people suck at closing in DMs.

They either come on too strong.

Or they're too passive and never ask for the sale.

Here's the balance.

The DM Close Framework:

Step 1: Qualify interest

Step 2: Provide value

Step 3: Ask diagnostic questions

Step 4: Present solution

Step 5: Handle objections

Step 6: Close

Example Conversation:

Them: "Hey, how do you grow on Instagram?"

You: "Are you trying to grow a personal brand or faceless page?" (qualify)

Them: "Faceless page"

You: "Cool. Faceless is easier. What niche?" (more qualifying)

Them: "Finance"

You: "Nice. Finance pages do well. What's your current follower count?" (diagnostic)

Them: "2,000 followers"

You: "Got it. Are you posting consistently or still figuring it out?" (diagnostic)

Them: "Posting 3x per week but not growing"

You: "That's the issue. Instagram rewards daily posting in the early stages. I have a training that shows the exact posting strategy for finance pages. Want the link?" (present solution)

Them: "Sure"

You: [Send link]

Why This Works:

You're not pitching immediately.

You're diagnosing their problem first.

Then offering a relevant solution.

The Key:

Ask questions.

People love talking about themselves.

The more they talk the more invested they become.

Common Mistakes:

Sending your link in the first message (too aggressive).

Never asking for the sale (too passive).

Not qualifying if they're a good fit (wastes time).

Talking about yourself instead of asking about them.

The Objection Handling:

Them: "How much is it?"

You: "It's [price]. Most people see results in 30-60 days. You interested?"

Them: "I don't know if it'll work for me"

You: "What makes you think that?"

Them: "I've tried other things before"

You: "What didn't work about those?"

Always ask questions to uncover the real objection.

The Close:

Don't be afraid to ask directly.

"Want to get started?"

"Should I send you the checkout link?"

"Ready to do this?"

Direct. Clear. Confident.

The Follow-Up:

If they don't respond follow up in 24 hours.

"Hey, did you get a chance to check out the training?"

Most sales happen in the follow-up.

Not the initial pitch.

Use this framework on your next 10 DM conversations.

You'll close more sales.
